Featuerd Coach: Jon Delano Jonathan is the Women's Soccer Coach at Dominican University.
This past season, Delano was named Cal-Pac Conference "Coach of the Year" as he led the Lady Penguins to their first conference championship since 1999.
Jonathan bleeds black and gold, as he played at DU and earned a B.A. in International Business Management here.
He is a nationally licensed coach who has had success at the high school, club, and college level.

Featured Camp: Cheerleading For the first time in many years, Dominican is offering a Cheerleading camp for kids who would like to learn jumps, basic stunting, cheers, choreographed dance routines, and the fundamentals of cheerleading including attitude and enthusiasm.
The camp begins on Monday August 4 and runs through Friday August 8. No experience is required.

Featuerd Coach: Brianna Chambers Brianna is the Women’s Basketball Coach at Dominican University of California.
Prior to joining Dominican in 2007, Brianna was an Assistant at CSU Monterey Bay and coached High School and AAU teams in Bakersfield.
Brianna played her collegiate ball at Bakersfield College, Menlo College, and CSU Bakersfield, and is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Featured Camp: Lacrosse A game strategy and tactical development camp designed for players who desire to learn more intricate, detailed strategies at their positions.
At the offensive end of the field, we will focus on the nuances of dodging, feeding, cutting, shooting, footwork, spacing, picking on and off-ball, communication, and understanding one's strength(s).
The defensive players will learn positioning, stick-checks, communication, team defense, defending the two-man game, clearing, and other intangibles.

Featuerd Coach: Ned Webster Ned Webster, 32, hails from Baltimore, Maryland, where he grew up as part of a lacrosse family: his father Mickey was a Hall of Famer at Johns Hopkins University, while his older brothers, Jim and John, played lacrosse at the University of Virginia and the University of North Carolina, respectively.
Webster played high school lacrosse at perennial nationally-ranked Boys’ Latin School, and then headed to South Bend, Indiana, home of the University of Notre Dame, where he suffered a career-ending knee injury his senior year.
Afterwards, Webster pursued a coaching career, relocating to Western Australia to coach a men’s lacrosse club before coming back to the United States to Dominican University of California. He now enters his third season as the Penguins' head coach, and has finished his first season as assistant coach for Major League Lacrosse team the San Francisco Dragons.
Ned will be leading the Recreational Dominican Lacrosse Camp from July 21 to 25 and July 21 to July 28, and the Competitive Dominican Lacrosse Camp from June 16 to 20.

Featuerd Coach: John MurrayJohn Murray is the Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Golf Teams at Dominican University.
John is also the Golf Professional and Director of Instruction at Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park, CA. He has been a PGA member for over 36 years and is a PGA "Class A" Lifetime member. John played on the professional tour and authored the book "The Murray Method", a unique approach to teaching the golf swing.
John will be leading the Dominican Golf Camp at Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park from Monday July 21 to Thursday July 24.

Roger Goodwin
Roger is the Athletic Director and Women’s Volleyball Coach at Dominican University of California.
He was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has coached every level of volleyball, from CYO, High School, Junior College, University, USVBA Elite Club level, and USA Junior National team.
Of note, Roger was the Head Coach and Director of Ichiban Volleyball Club in Long Beach, winning a United States Volleyball Association record 5 Junior Olympic Open National Championships, and coached teams to eleven National Championship finals. He has also coached 7 players who have played on USA Olympic teams, including current defending Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold medalist Misty May.

New Programs for 12 Year Olds & YoungerIn addition to our traditional offerings in Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Lacrosse and Volleyball, 2008 sees the addition of four new camp concepts at Dominican:
An introductory half-day parent-child program designed to teach basic swimming skills and water safety, with the addition of fun games like Water-Winged Water Polo, Rain Drops, Sponge Relay and more.
An introductory all-day camp designed to teach fundamentals in many of the following sports and activities: Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee and Swimming, plus a Friday ‘Fun & Games’ day.

An introductory all-day camp designed to teach all facets of the golf swing, including grip, stance, ball position, posture, alignment, aim, swing path, and ball striking, as well as short game components including putting, chipping, pitching and sand play.
An introductory all-day camp designed to teach jumps, basic stunting, cheers, choreographed dance routines, and the fundamentals of cheerleading including attitude and enthusiasm.

All-day camps typically run from 9:00am – 4:00pm. This year, you will be able to drop off your child at 8:00am and pick up your child as late as 5:00pm for an additional charge of $10 per hour. A member of Dominican’s Summer Camp staff will contact you after you’ve registered your child for camp with details on how to register and pay for extended day care.
