A You will be asked to specify the names of family members and friends who are authorized to pick-up your child in the camp registration application, available in print and online. You may also specify that you child is cleared to leave without authorized pick-up.
A The camp fee for recreation-level half-day camps is $150. The camp fee for recreation-level extended-day camps is $290. The camp fee for competitive-level half-day camps is $150.
(i) Dominican Employees and Conlan Center members receive a 10% discount
(ii) Families registering an individual child for 3 or more camp sessions receive a 10% discount
Notes: (i) Discounts may be combined; (ii) An individual child must register for 3 or more camp sessions to qualify. Families registering multiple children for a total of 3 or more camp sessions do not receive the discount.
A Recreation-level camps run from 9:00am 4:00pm Monday Friday unless otherwise specified. Competitive-level camps run from 5:00pm-8:00pm unless otherwise specified.
A The coach to camper ratio for Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Softball, Cheerleading, Multi-Sports and Volleyball is 1:12 . The coach to camper ratio for Tennis and Golf is 1:8.
A Yes. For a fee of $10 per hour, parents can drop off their child as early as 8:00am and pick up their child as late as 5:00pm . Parents must specify and pay for this during the camp registration process on the first day of camp.
A The recreation-level camp fee includes a Penguin Sports Camp tee-shirt and camper recognition certificate. The competitive-level camp fee includes a Penguin Sports Camp tee-shirt.
A Recreation-Level Extended Day Campers must be between the ages of 7 and 12 on the first day of camp. Competitive-Level Half-Day Campers must be between the ages of 13 and 18 on the first day of camp. Competitive-Level Campers must also aspire to or currently be playing competitively in their chosen sport.
A We do not formally test the children's swimming ability. However, we will have 1 or 2 lifeguards on duty as well as all the coaches and directors watching the children. Also, our pools deep end is 4 feet deep. If you still have concerns let the Director of your camp know on the first day.
